Leadership Opportunities

In room 5, we endeavour to offer many opportunities for the students to show their leadership skills in a variety of different ways throughout the year.  We work on developing every student's confidence, and encourage them to take the lead in areas where they have particular strengths.

This term, three girls in Room 5 have been showcasing their strengths and leadership in dance, as they  have been developing and teaching a performance dance to girls in Rooms 4 and 5.  This dance will be performed at the Dance Splash competition later in the term.

Well done Maaike, Hannah and Izzy!

The girls learning the dance have been showing a great commitment towards learning the steps, and also huge respect towards their peers who are teaching them.

Term 3, Week 2

At technology, the cooking group were cooking up a storm!!  They made delicious pizzas with a range of different toppings.  Some vegetables even made it onto some of them!!

I can't wait to see the hard/soft materials group make a start on their stools.
